February 28th, 2026A sharp pain grew from her hip, though her fast reflexes saved her from some nasty cuts; her landing wasn't the smoothest, let alone most impressive thing. Maybe she deserved it for mocking the only person around that was trying to help, but Scarlett did wish she wasn't alone within the hall. The glass was only the first instance of real danger being present; if there were clearer signs, like perhaps a warning from the adults, that wasn't obvious enough about the danger.
The sound was burring deeper into her mind, almost unbearable. Attempting to cover her ears, but the intensity didn't subside much, the best option was to find a way out as quickly as possible.
Curious, she lifted the shard of glass for a closer look, and in the reflection, she didn't see herself but saw Finn's reflection as her own. Practically throwing the shard to the ground out of shock, not hard enough for it to break (unless some spell made it abnormally weak) it was more of a slight drop, and while she still sat on the floor, the distance of the fall was relatively short. "God!" she couldn't help but have some audible reaction.
Creeping over to the shard to check her reflection once again, and still Finn's face was what she saw staring back at her. She slowly raised her head to look at her housemate while trying to keep an eye on the reflection, and it matched her movements. "Bloody hell? Why would anyone charm glass like this?"
Knowing she couldn't walk the shard to Finn without being pulled back to the centre of the room, she tried with all her might to slide him a shard, maybe items in the room could make it out? This would be a wonderful test, " Here!" She said as she slid the glass along the floor, reflecting that of a person playing curling, only there were no defining sounds invading her skull, there were no sweepers, and she wasn't able to have much of a running start. "Check this out if you can see it." She had two motives with this action, though she tried not to let her face reveal either. Option one, the glass would make it out of the room, perhaps Finn could see something different, or see the same thing she did, and that could give them a clue. Option two, Finn fumbles into the room while trying to observe the piece, and then he would have to become a better helper if he were to get himself out. Whatever possible option took place seemed like a win-win, no matter what.
While the attempt was made to pass the glass to her "helper," Scarlett took to her feet, a bit shaky with the sound messing with her mind and focus, but she still managed to return to a standing position. Looking down at what the boy had pointed out, she was starting to see what he meant on the ground, but her attention was also split with the reflection of the chandelier. She wasn't sure if she should attempt to cast a spell, not after her performance at Finn's expense, but on the other hand, if she could cast a spell, even in these conditions, perhaps it could justify her earlier teasing?
She pulled out her wand and positioned herself in an attempt to reveal as much as she could in the room, maybe even find an exit? But if her only resolve was learning more about the marks on the floor or the Chandelier, it seemed worth a try.
Raising her wand, she thought back to the movements and felt more or less confident in the correct way to flick her maple wand. Making an R like shape in the air, she cast the spell, "Revelio" here is to hoping she could find some way out of this mess.Scarlett tries to slide a piece of glass to Finn.
She tries to cast Revelio to see if anything about the floor or chandelier, or even a secret way out, makes itself known.
