Penwick - Registration

Welcome to Penwick.ink!

Penwick.ink is a 16+, volunteer-run, fully independent writing site set within the Harry Potter universe. This is not an alternate universe (AU); Penwick exists within the canon world of Harry Potter, but outside the timeline of Harry's school years and in an original setting.

Penwick was founded by writers for writers. Many RP platforms either lock you into rigid systems, have a community that seems hard to break into, or overwhelm players with complicated mechanics. Penwick was created out of a desire for a place for collaborative storytelling with minimal friction, fun and simple mechanics, a welcoming community, and enough worldbuilding to support deep storytelling without limiting it.

Before registering, there are a few things you should know:
  • Penwick.ink welcomes users ages 16 and older.
  • We are a "play-by-post" site with a minimum wordcount of 200 for each post.
  • You will create your own original character to write as. Your username should be the name of the character you are creating for roleplay on Penwick.ink.
  • Please read our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy below. You must agree to the terms before accessing the site.
Welcome again to Penwick, we're so happy you're here!

Your data is used only to:
  • Operate and secure the forum
  • Maintain your account
  • Provide essential notifications

  • Comply with applicable U.S. and New York laws
Your email and IP address are visible only to administrators.
We do not share your data with phpBB Limited or any external entity.
