Backstory
Bram Bumble is the long-standing owner of Bubbles & Bumble, a drink shop in Wyrdlan known as much for its atmosphere as its products.

He operated the shop with the help of his wife, Beatrice, for decades. Bram handled the “fun” side of things, creating flavors, experimenting with new effects, and talking with customers. Beatrice handled everything else. The books, the inventory, the ordering, everything that kept the place from falling apart. Sadly, Beatrice passed in 2022.

Bram kept the shop running. He still loves serving customers, but everything outside of it has become… a bit of a mess. There are systems in place, clearly Beatrice’s, that Bram still follows out of habit, though not always successfully.

He is, quite visibly, a little out of his depth trying to manage it all alone, but does so with a smile on his face.

Appearance
Bram is a round, soft-built man with rosy cheeks and laugh lines marking many years of a joyful life. His face is warm and expressive, marked with deep smile lines.

His grey hair is kept short and mostly tidy, though it has a habit of softening at the edges by midday, and a neatly trimmed beard frames his face. Thick, colourful cardigans or patterned vests sit over simple shirts, usually rolled at the sleeves. Over it all, he wears a well-worn apron, faded and marked from years of use, with pockets that seem to hold far more than they should.

Personality
Bram treats the world as his family. He never refers to people by their names, only calling them by things like "boy", "chap", "lass", and things of the sort.
One would think that he wouldn't remember anyone in that case, but quite the opposite. Bram knows the name and last order of every customer who walks through his doors.
He enjoys poking fun at his customers, especially students who seem to be on a date, but never at their expense.
He does not rush conversations, lets people take their time, and rarely pushes for more than they are willing to give.
There is a light frazzle to him now. He forgets small things, misplaces others, and occasionally starts three tasks at once and finishes one. But when it comes to people, he is sharp.

Where to find Bram Bumble

Bubbles & Bumble (Very Common)
Behind the counter, halfway up a ladder, or elbow-deep in a crate he meant to sort an hour ago. If the shop is open, Bram is there.

Around Wyrdlan
Can be seen doing his own errands around town, or making the occasional delivery for a birthday party.

Brynwell Market Square (Holidays only)
During the holiday season, Bram can be found in the square dressed as St. Nicholas, handing out cocoa and taking photos with children.

RP Hooks
1. If you've visited the store before, Bram will remember what your last order was, as well as anything you may have mentioned during your visit.
2. If you catch Bram on a slow day and offer to help around the shop for a bit, he pays 10 sickles an hour. He'll have you organizing receipts, cleaning the shop entrance, or restocking the back room.
3. Bram is insistent that it is not he, but the real Saint Nicholas who appears in Brynwell every year.
