Plot: Ilse arrived at Penwick completely unfamiliar with Britain, having spent most her childhood in either the Netherlands or Austria. She hardly knew anything, and while she learnt Welsh best she could, she still wasn't very familiar with the place and its customs. She met your character in the Modron common room, when your character, a fellow fifth year, decided to pick up a conversation with her. That would begin a friendship that would last very long, and they would become very close friends--or even, best friends.
Other: Any gender is fine, though I do not have interest in it becoming a romantic relationship. This would be a long-term friendship
